SHOT Show 2026 has officially wrapped up, and the feedback we received from distributors, dealers, and professional users offered clear insight into where the red dot optics market is heading — and how our current lineup is well aligned with those expectations.

Lightweight, Affordable Optics Remain in Strong Demand

Among our most discussed products at the show were the ZIKKA SE and ZIKKA ST red dot sights. Their lightweight design and competitive pricing made them especially appealing to cost-conscious buyers, OEM partners, and high-volume retailers.

Although these models feature a polymer housing, many visitors were surprised by their durability. With real-world testing rated up to 5000 G-force, concerns about fragility were quickly put to rest. For users looking for a balance between affordability, reliability, and everyday performance, the ZIKKA SE and ST proved to be a strong fit.

Competition Shooters Favor Larger Viewing Windows

For more performance-driven users, especially those involved in competitive shooting, attention quickly shifted to the ALPHA and ALPHA-X series.

Their extra-large viewing window was frequently mentioned as a key advantage, allowing for faster target acquisition and improved situational awareness. Many visitors also appreciated the versatility of these optics, as they are suitable for both pistols and rifles, making them ideal for shooters who want a single optic platform across multiple setups.

In addition, compatibility with popular mounting standards such as RMR and RTS2 footprints was seen as a practical benefit, simplifying installation and expanding aftermarket mounting options.

Enclosed Red Dots Are Emerging as a Clear Trend

One of the most consistent discussions throughout the show centered on the growing preference for enclosed red dot sights.

Visitors repeatedly pointed out their advantages:

- Better fog resistance
- Improved performance in extreme temperatures
- Easier cleaning and maintenance
- More structurally stable designs

This trend was reflected in the strong interest shown in our enclosed models.

The QUAKE heavy-duty steel frame red dot sight attracted users looking for maximum durability and recoil resistance, while the GUARD solar-powered enclosed red dot sight stood out for its combination of enclosed protection and extended power efficiency, making it particularly appealing for duty, tactical, and outdoor use.

Looking Ahead

The feedback from SHOT Show 2026 reaffirmed a key message:
Users are no longer choosing between durability, performance, and price — they expect all three.

From lightweight polymer designs that exceed durability expectations, to competition-ready large-window optics, and a clear shift toward enclosed red dot systems, our current product development direction is closely aligned with real market demand.

We look forward to continuing these conversations with our partners and introducing even more refined solutions in the seasons ahead.
