First Impressions and Build Quality

In the video, JGairguns highlights that the BLACKIRON 6-24x50 scope feels solid and well-constructed. The package includes good protective foam, and the scope itself has a total length of 369 mm (without the sunshade) and weighs about 752 g.
It features a 30 mm single-piece aluminum tube, is nitrogen-purged and waterproof, and can handle recoil up to 1000g, making it suitable for both air rifles and firearms.

He notes that the design feels balanced and practical — “a robust piece, well made, without unnecessary parts.”

Optical Performance

According to the reviewer, the optical clarity of the BLACKIRON 6-24x50 scope was one of its strongest points. He compared it with other scopes he has used and mentioned that this one offers a clear and bright image, especially noticeable at higher magnifications.

“The first thing that caught my attention was the clarity through the lenses — that was really the highlight,” he said.

The scope features fully multi-coated optics and a 50 mm objective lens that efficiently captures light, providing a clear view even in less favorable lighting conditions.

Reticle and Adjustments

The BLACKIRON 6-24x50 scope features a second focal plane (SFP) illuminated reticle, which JGairguns described as “very complete, with a design similar to a Christmas tree.”
It offers six levels of red illumination, adjusted via a side dial. The scope does not include a battery in the box.

He commented that the reticle layout provides numerous useful reference points for both sporting and recreational shooting, calling it “a reticle full of options and information.”

The parallax adjustment starts from 10 yards to infinity, which he found practical for airgun use and short-distance shooting.
The turrets have a 0.1 MRAD (1/10 MIL) click value, and the elevation turret includes a zero-stop function. The clicks are described as positive and precise, with minimal play.

Handling and Ergonomics

The magnification ring (6–24x) is easy to turn and offers smooth resistance. JGairguns appreciated the ergonomic design that makes adjustments straightforward.
The diopter adjustment is also smooth and stays in place once set. Flip-up lens covers are included, and a metal sunshade can be attached to the objective lens.

Overall Impression

In conclusion, JGairguns describes the BLACKIRON 6-24x50 scope as a versatile and well-balanced riflescope that offers solid performance for its price.
He considers it a good mid-range option within the NUTREK lineup — not the most advanced, but a balanced choice for shooters seeking reliable quality and clear optics.

“It’s a versatile, reliable scope that delivers what it costs. The construction feels strong, and overall it performs very well for this category,” he summarized.
